Complete 3-bedroom house refurbishment in Oxfordshire
Our recent project on Colwell Drive, Witney, involved completely refurbishing a three-bedroom house, transforming it into a modern and functional family home.
At the front of the property, outdated green tiles were removed and replaced with sleek grey cladding, giving the home a contemporary appearance. The porch was removed, and we added a new gutter system, a stylish front door with a canopy roof, and a beautifully detailed mosaic step. These upgrades enhanced the property’s curb appeal while eliminating an old fishpond creating a more practical and streamlined outdoor space.
We optimised the kitchen layout by removing and bricking up a doorway, allowing for better flow and usability. All outdated tiles were replaced with modern designs, and the old wooden flooring gave way to bright grey tiles. The walls were fully replastered and painted, while spotlights and additional sockets, including USB ports, were installed for enhanced functionality.
Our carpenter installed the new kitchen, featuring integrated appliances that were installed and thoroughly checked to ensure they met the highest standards.
The bathroom layout was entirely reimagined to suit the client’s needs. The sink and toilet were relocated to more convenient positions, and the bathroom was extended by moving an internal wall. New wall and floor tiles were laid, creating a fresh look.
Each room in the house was given a complete overhaul. The walls were replastered and painted, skirting boards were renovated, and all internal doors and frames were replaced. A total rewiring of the rooms included the installation of new sockets, some with USB ports, and modern lighting. New carpets were laid, and old radiators were replaced with modern alternatives.
The transformation concluded outside with a brand-new patio, a freshly installed fence, and artificial grass, creating a low-maintenance garden perfect for relaxing and entertaining.
