Full Refurbishment of a Three-Bedroom House in Oxfordshire
This recent project in Witney involved a full refurbishment of a three-bedroom house, transforming it into a modern family home.
To create a more functional layout, we removed the old chimney, replastered and painted all walls, and insulated the ceiling for improved energy efficiency. The floor was levelled, properly insulated, and finished with new wooden panels for a polished look. We also replaced the doors and door frames with modern designs and installed custom-made cupboards to maximise storage. The central heating system was also upgraded with a smart Nest thermostat.
The bathroom was completely gutted and redesigned. We installed new wall and floor tiles, along with modern fixtures, including a sink, toilet, bath, shower, and radiator. To further enhance the home’s functionality, we created and built a downstairs toilet, offering convenience and adding value to the property.
The loft was transformed into a modern master bedroom. We removed and insulated the ceiling to meet current standards, replastered and painted all walls, and installed soundproofing beneath the new carpeted flooring. Custom storage units were designed and built on both sides of the bed. Velux windows were added, bringing natural light to the space.
Outside of the property, we created a new driveway with ample space for at least three cars. In the back garden, a new fence was installed alongside paved paths and a comfortable sitting area. We also constructed a large shed, providing additional storage space.
